I saw a white one trundle through a blizzard once, I thought it was the perfect vehicle in the perfect environment and I was so jealous at the time

A friend of mine had one very much like that. I got to drive it a bit. Can confirm: it’s a blast... for a short while anyway. Amazingly capable.

trundle is exactly what hummers do to. They don’t drive, the trundle.

yeah. in a blizzard, making its own way through deep unplowed streets, that’s where I was jealous, in that moment. and that moment alone! I feel pretty confident I have no desire to trundle around town at any other times.

I drove from CO to Arizona to pick up a friend’s Pinzgauer. We then drove back to CO at a steady 50mph. Trundling feels an accurate description for that road trip.
although, with the Pinz punching a big square hole in the air, and the steady low highway speed, my subaru following behind got EPIC fuel economy numbers.
